The Lives of the Dead

Some of the most interesting people I meet are dead…

And now for something completely different…

A note from me who (last time I checked) is still alive…

Today, I saw a YouTube video today discussing whether immortality could/would be achieved by 2045.

As an interesting spiritual discussion, consider this: what would happen to a soul if it were never reincarnated, never had a life between lives; if it just continued to exist in the human realm? Would it be able to learn the necessary spiritual lessons? Would those souls be fundamentally different from those who are repeatedly reincarnated?  And what of those who believe human life is more valuable/important than the spiritual afterlife? What are the differences between these kinds of people, in the practical sense?   How might you recognize such a person if you met them/developed a relationship with them?

Discuss!   😀  (I am really interested in your answers/questions!)

See the video here.

I like Woody Allen’s take on this, which is, “I don’t believe in an afterlife but just in case I’m taking a change of underwear.”
